This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, contact the issuing court or the law-enforcement office that serves the process.
Need Official Warrant Information?
These are the offices that answer warrant questions in St. Landry Parish, sorted by the kind of case involved.
- A district criminal or traffic file: St. Landry Parish Clerk of Court, Courts Division, at 337-942-5606 with the Courts Division extension 5113. The office is at 118 South Court Street in Opelousas, with a mailing address at P.O. Box 750, Opelousas, LA 70571. The contact page lists Suite 207 and the courts overview lists Suite 121 for the same division, so confirm the room by phone before a visit.

- A Eunice city case: Eunice City Court at 337-457-6535. City offices keep general hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., so confirm the court's own schedule first.
- Service, custody, or jail questions: St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office at 1592 East Prudhomme Street, Opelousas, LA 70570, on the main line at 337-948-6516. The parish jail at 108 South Market Street answers custody questions at 337-948-5804. Neither number is a dedicated warrant line, and no public warrant search is published on the sheriff's site.
- A prosecution question: St. Landry Parish District Attorney at 231 South Union Street, Opelousas, with administration at 337-948-3041, felony matters at 337-948-0551, and traffic matters at 337-948-0531.
- A written public-records request: send it to the office that holds the record. The clerk takes requests for court files, the sheriff's records route is reached at pir@slpsheriff.com, and the District Attorney publishes a fee schedule for copies, media, and scanned pages.
Bring or have ready the full legal name, any prior name used in the case, the citation or case number, the court named on the paper, and a phone or email for the reply. A request that names one case and one date range moves faster than a broad request that covers a whole parish.
